How do I know which Wiper Blades my Car needs?

Windscreen wipers are measured in millimetres or inches, referring to the length of the rubber blade. The wiper blade rubber is the insert strip that fits into the wiper blades making contact with the window. It's this part that clears the rain, sleet, dirt, and snow off your vehicle's windscreen.

You can get wiper blades in a variety of sizes and they measure from around 9" to 32" or 250mm through to 813mm. 

If you get the wrong size, the windscreen wipers won't work correctly. Too small and they won't cover the entire windscreen, too big and the wiper blade rubber will get damaged or tangled at its end.

How do I know if my Wiper Blades need Replacing?

You need to get a windscreen wiper replacement if:

• Squeaking - Some windscreen wiper squeaking is ok, but if it's making a lot of noise, it’s time to get them replaced
• Chattering - Where the wiper blade rubber has failed to the point the plastic part is being dragged across your windscreen
• Bent frame - If the frame of the windscreen wiper is bent or damaged, it might not make firm contact with the windscreen
• Adhesive failing - If the glue that holds the wiper blade rubber fails, the rubber becomes loose and flops around not making a clean swipe on the windscreen
